You can have your Glaser HiTechs, Thompson Tool, P&N, Sorby and Crown. I, for one, will opt for the custom, hand made Rinehart Swan Neck. Made by an artist for someone who wishes he was an artist. Thanks for this Tim, I'm off to the garage to make a handle.218265218264

While I doubt you'll ever get my Glasers out of my hands, that looks like a very well built and well designed tool. Is the handle shown the one you made?

That looks cool. I didn't know Tim was making tools like that. Looks like that will do the job nicely.

Tim sent me mine last week, handled because I have touble making round things...I'm working 7 out of 8 so I haven't had time to use it yet...Saturday it'll get broken in.

That's cool, Nate! I got one of Tim's tools last week, and although I've only had a little time to play with it, it works great!

And now with a handle. Had a nice little piece of curly maple left over from another project that was the right size, so used my skew to shape the handle, then practiced some dying. Can't wait to use it, hopefully tomorrow.
