Curly maple bowl set that I gave to my brother and sister in-law for Christmas. I had no way to post while on vacation, or I would have posted sooner. The big bowl is 12" x 4" and the smaller bowls are 6" x 2". Sealed with Mahoney's utility finish.

Very nice set, well done and it doesn't need to get any better!! A very nice gift, I'm sure it was well received.

Wow! That is an impressive set of bowls! I commented to my wife the other day that I doubt there is any way I could do a set of salad bowls. I would be pulling my hair out on the second one, and by the time I got to the fourth, I would be ready for the asylum.

Great work, and some very nice wood!

I would love to have a set of bowls that looked that nice in my kitchen. Not too over the top but wonderfully figured wood and a very simple, stable form.

But like Mr. Keeton, I tend to get a bit gouge happy and making a set would require consistency I just don't have the patience for. I'm sure your brother and his better half will love them.

Those are a beautiful set Eric. I have made a couple of sets and they are pretty hard to get consistant. Really well done.
