I'm Trying to Restore a Powermatic Wide Belt Sander and I cna't seem to find the Dark Green (with red and white border stripes) Tape they used. Anyone know where I can get some. Tried Powermatic and several very large Powermatic parts houses. Somebody going by the name of Ramas was selling some back in July (see link http://en.jo1jo.com/vb2/showthread.php?t=748341 but I'll be darned if I know how to contact him.
Do you?

When I restored my PM 81 bandsaw that had a 3 line racing stripe, I went to a local sign shop that makes vinyl signs and lettering. They were able to make me a self adhesive vinyl stripe to my specifications. Worked perfectly.

Fast Signs. They can make anything you need in several different types of vinyl. They can make it stay on for 3 days or forever. And just about any color you need.

Doesn't look too hard to mask and paint.

I'd hazard a guess that there's at more than one person on this forum who could make them in vinyl to your specs. I've posted wanted ads in the classifieds before asking about having stuff like this made and have had good luck. You'll need to be a contributor to post there.
