I haven't been turning but a couple months, as I read these post, I see abbreviations and see just how new I am to turning. It took me a month to figure out that NE stood for natural edge instead of north east or new england. I just saw a post that had WOP as a finish. I saw boiled linseed oil at walmart and figured it is what I see listed as BLO. Is there a list of abbreviations anywhere that a beginner can use?

Thomas,

I've not seen a list...WOP = Wipe On Polyurethane..........BLO = Boiled Linseed Oil............AO = Antique Oil......DO = Danish Oil ......

There is a start.....
