So I wiped my laptop recently and went to reinstall Corel Draw X3 from the disc and it says 'error reading setup initialization file'.

Is there any way around this? Is there anywhere to download a copy of X3 and I can just put in my serial number?

Any help is appreciated! Don't really fancy shelling out £400 for a copy of X5!

Thanks in advance

Alick

You might try cleaning the CD with a mild dish detergent and water. It could be
dirt or a scratch stopping it from reading.
Barring that, you can download the software from cnet and at some point it will
ask you for a serial number, which you already have

I've tried cleaning the disc, but no change.

Everytime I try to download X3 from cnet it just starts downloading X5!?

I sent you a PM. Corel doesn't make it easy, but I found their FTP
site for previous version. It's under Patches & Updates.
( I guess it wouldn't be under "Downdates" ..)
