I have had a problem with the clone tool in PhotoPaint 11. When I select the Clone tool, it should display a the "brush" tool on top of the bitmap (usually I am using round) so that I can pick the source pixels that I want to clone. However, the tool is invisible - it seems like it is "hidden" somehow. When I click randomly on the bitmap, the tool will appear, but there is no way to do a proper selection of the source pixels as I can't steer it to the correct location. What could be wrong with my setup? It is working properly for me in X4 so I know how it should work.

I haven't experienced it in PP, but sometimes in Photoshop. There is a choice of
using 'brush size' or 'standard' or 'precise' for the brush size (under Preferences)
and sometimes this gets lost.. it might change to precise when i really want to
see the brush size. Or sometimes it will just not show anything. I usually have to
restart Photoshop (or the computer if it has been on a long time)

I don't know if Corel uses anything similar, since I don't really use Photo Paint.. but
it's worth a look to find out. Maybe a setting got changed in your preferences?
