Here are more from the Brown production line...Birdhouses are poplar with a mesquite top and norway maple with a walnut top. The bowl is apricot and the pen is curly maple, holly and aluminum on an aero kit from CS. This was a gift for my nephew who is doing missionary work in Argentina, hence the Argentine flag. The aluminum strip was put in between the layers of wood to keep the dye from bleeding into the holly. The dye was a highlighter marker, since it was the closest we could find to match the blue in the flag. My first attempt at decal as well.
