most of my display surfaces in my home are dark wood. they have the usual finish. i like my pieces to contrast the display surface so the eye picks up the details. on dark wood oak, bleached stuff, maple, and box elder are very easy to display on these dark surfaces. mesquite and cherry are harder to display, but i have a light colored folding game table that works well for the mesquite and cherry.
i do not dye much, some bleached, how and what do you display those pieces on?
how do you display your cherry and mesquite, maple, box elder, china berry?
anybody use white dollies? i believe that is the term
