Hi All
Seasons Greeting s from the UK.
As you do I was looking at Norm on the NYW making a cupboard in the "Cowboy/Western Style" he was using a Dremmel to rout a continuous flowing groove around he rails and stiles of some cupboard doors, and I thought to myself, "I'd like to try that on a hollow form" but then decided I'd like to do it on a fairly flat but rounded over vase form, I guess a bit like a 4 sided barrellstave assembly, but that made me think that there might be an off centre technique to achieve it from one piece, so, does any one have any ideas.

Regards
Kevin

Look up "Therming". It's a way to make multiple pieces at once. Not round necessarily, but with rounded sides. I've seen it done with multiple workpieces or just 2. Cool technique that I hope to try someday.

Hi Don
Thank you for the reply, I've just googled Therming it is exactly what I was looking for, that's the joy of belonging to a wood turning site, someone always knows what you're talking about (even if you don't) and they are always willing to help.

If I'm not to late, have a good and prosperous new year.

Regards
Kevin
