Saw a post yesterday about a pedestal clock so I tried my own.
It will be for my granddaughters birthday in April.
Walnut , Lee Valley's Turners Polish, 3 1/8" Clock

Great looking clock Keith. Being a clockman I have built and turned a few. This one is well done.

Looks good. You might want to make a plug for the hole in the back.

Agreed. Ever since I saw the one posted the other day I ave been thinking about those as a gift idea for next year.

Boy I am always looking for clock ideas and just getting into turning I am now looking for turned clock ideas. I hope you don't mind me borrowing a few ideas.
Great job and the form looks good. I like the way you inset the clock face. Nice touch. Thanks for showing. I would love to see more examples of this type clock turning.
