Wish I was as good with a camera. I was asked to laser This dog on the front door of a gun cabinet. I Thought it turned out very nice.

The photo does not even come close to how good it looked. The customer loved it.

Just thought I would share.

Hope everyone has a Joyous Holiday season.

Once I positioned the glass in the laser with masking tape, I cut kiss cut the tape to the oval shape.
Removed the oval, cleaned the glass free of finger prints and stuff and painted with black krylon paint.
Let dry, Kiss cut one more time to make sure no paint stuck to the tape, then removed all the tape leaving the black oval.

Put the glass back in the machine and rastered the whole design.
Chinese Machine 600 speed and 24 power.

10 inch by 10 inch Took about 40 Min set to uni directional firing. 300dpi on the photo and Dxf file on the outlining box .

Allen this is beautiful!! please forgive my ignorance what is "kiss cut"? Do you mean that you painted the glass and then engraved it and it held the color after it was engraved????

Nice work! Do you have any other samples of the painted glass that you would like to show us?
That's a very creative technique. Thanks for sharing!
