Elbow Monster?

I have an Elbow Hollowing tool but don't like clamping it to the tail stock quill. I have read where some turners clamp it to an extension but I was looking at it yesterday and now am wondering out loud if anyone has modified it with a post similar to the Monster?

I just started on my own version of the monster/elbow/?,and Finally desided to make mine like the monster and use a post. I don't think it would be as steady mounted to the tail stock with a clamp.

Could be that I can tag along and add a post to my Elbo.

Harry, I have an elbow & it is totally steady clamped to the tailstock.
