Dyed Maple Burl Sierra Pen

Sorry for the crappy photo but I don't have a fancy photo booth!

This is a Christmas gift for my kids' school bus driver. You might wonder why we are giving him a gift but Dennis has been their bus driver for 6 years. He's always been prompt, courteous and genuinely cares about the kids' safety.

Here is a dyed Maple Burl blank on a Sierra pen. It's blue with hints of orange and has a CA finish. It looks MUCH better in person!

You cannot put too high a price on that. Good looking pen and it looks like you did a very good job keeping tight tolerance on the wood to metal transitions!

Im sure he'll be thrilled. Pens, I've found, seem to make welcomed gifts.
