rockler has bench cookies on sale but what is the difference between the black and blue ones?
all i can see is the little hole cut in center?

I think that is it other than lack of side branding which makes more sense in a home. The only negative I can see is less of the grippy material for the shop environment. But given the how much cheaper they are during the current sale, I wouldn't worry about it.

Looks like the home ones are intended to put under things that are not moving. The others without the hole are for holding things that want to move. Personally, I like the Peachtree Loc-Blocks better than the Rockler ones, but they are more expensive. The Lee Valley hockey puck ones are only $3 for a set of 4, but that a assumes you have some old hockey pucks hanging around.
