I thought these would be nice to give to some extended family members at an up coming Christmas gathering. Made from odd maple pieces, drilled 2-1/8", minimally hollowed, and bee's wax. I occasionally put my name and phone number on the bottom of pieces like this and give away to tree trimmers, and other contractors that are potential wood sources.

Neat idea for small pieces Hayes. Never thought of dice holders. For the non-players, they might make good toothpick holders too.:)

Very Nice! Do you have approximate dimensions?

Thanks,

Rick

Rick, I started with pieces that were 2-3/4"-3" wide and they ended up about 3-1/2" tall. (1/4" for tenon) I don't think dimensions are critical but a rounded wider top or a bead or beads in the top third are comfortable to grip.

I noticed post number 1 so welcome, and come back often!

Don't mind at all and for sure I'm not the first. Another good one is "the take one leave one" type penny bowls you find in stores, restaurants, etc. One that I have in a local chain saw shop has put my phone number in the right place a number of times.
