9" diameter. Finished with Waterlox. I'm still learning my camera. Taking photos is harder than turning...

Nice bowl. How about a profile shot?

I agree on the photos. Lots of us, myself included could learn some things there. But the bowl is really nice, great job with it.

Beautiful piece of wood! Hard to tell much about the form without the profile shot, but it's a gorgeous bit of timber.

Prashun, Are you sure thats walnut? It looks alot like the Cherry burls I've been turning. I've never had the pleasure of turning walnut burl so I'm unsure of what it looks like.

Perhaps this is somewhat closer to the actual color?

Very pretty Prashun. I could almost get lost just looking into that bowl(though I do like Johns version better;):))

Pretty cool looking bowl Prashun! I like the natural edge and all that rich color! Probably the photos but I have to agree with Tom - sure looks a lot like the Black Cherry burl I've turned.

Very nice Prashun, I find that the problem with learning good photography is that we'd rather be turning:).

Not sure that is walnut either, but one thing I am sure of, that is one beautiful bowl!

Well, whatever you want to call the burl, it is a stunning piece of wood and with those gentle uniform curves, you extracted a lovely form from it.
Dittos on the 'turning rather than photographing'.
