I am guessing this is a gimlet. The handle is marked on both sides T.Thomas. It is 14 inches long not counting the handle and is 3/8 inch in diameter and the hollowed out area on the shank is just over 4 inches long. The entire tool looks to be hand made and I have never seen a gimet this size. Anyone have any idea of age or recognize the manufacturer?
