Because of our interest in wood working, we often see posts about the very talented people who create stunning pieces of work. I have a friend who creates in a different media. Herb is an art teacher at a near by high school and works in metal. I thought you might be interested in seeing some of his work. He basically uses scrap metal in his work and uses a plasma cutter and welder. His workshop is truly neanderthal but the things that come out of it are quite amazing.

Thanks, that is some great work. I like the incorporation of stones. I've always though metalwork is harder to control to get the results you wish for compared to wood.
