Carbide cutters

If any of the pen/small part turners out there use the mini square carbide turning tools with removable cutters, i have a tip. The online replacement cutters seem to be $19 from the catalog house. They are the same insert cutters used in sprial head planers. I had to buy 200+ cutters so I did quite a bit of searching and that $19 replacement cutter kept popping up on the internet search engine. They run between $2-$3 each as non turning items even in 1-2 qty.

Thanks, Deane! I've got a carbide roughing tool with a square cutter, and I'm sure I'll have to replace that baby at some point... Any particular place you found that's cheap and easy to deal with?

Not knowing the size (or rake (releaf/bevel) ) on your current inserts, Dave - the SNMA's might be close (towards the bottom left).
