Just picked up a Sand-rite sander, with some spare inflatabel drums, and some abrasive. 150 spacebucks. Woo-hoo.216073216074

Thanks-- took it for a brief test spin and it seems to work great on curved parts. Now I want to find some sort of brush also.

That is YOU SUCK worthy. You probably have $150 worth of abrasives.

Harrrr. There is more abrasive than what's in the pic. Plus, each one of those drums is not cheap from sandrite!

541They are a sander that most of us have probably wanted at some time or another but when you look at the prices (new) most change their minds. The newest model with a brush and a drum along with a stand is close to $1600!

Steve I am in awe, envious, and I bow to you... That is a monster gloat. One that I will punish myself for not finding and jumping on. I will pull out each and every one of my chest hairs individually until they are all gone to repent for the sin of missing that deal. I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy...

It really just hit me how much you are getting short changed on the "you suckage". Was just thinking if you had gloated about a 10 years old Grizzly table saw you paid 50% of retail on you would have three pages of pats on the back. You really did get an uber-good deal.

Yea- the guy I bought it from said that someone had offered 75 dollars for it. It really does not look like much until you start to use it.

This thing sands like there is no tomorow- considering that most of what it is best for would best otherwise done with hand sanding, which I personally cannot stomach.
