+1 on the Lee Valley Hardware

Ordering from them is also a good excuse/opportunity to pick up some cool tools too. Just doesn't seem right shipping little knobs without a plane, chisel or something to keep them company.

The best hinges I have found for jewelry boxes and chests are from Brusso.com.
They are expensive but they are the only ones I have found that are machined and not stamped.
I have never had a Brusso hinge fail yet. I use them mostly for lids and doors.
They have some stopped hinges that work well.
LV and Brusso both have some nice looking knobs. Depends on what type you want.
Brusso knobs you will have to bore flat bottomed hole and use epoxy to glue them in. Easy after you have done it once. Takes just a drop on the bottom.
If you are looking for hooks to hang a necklace google "The hook lady". Nice woman and she has lots of hooks and hangers. Can't order on line you will have to call her.

PS. if you want a custom made mirror I have a place in Cal. to order from. Not a bad price at all. The will do about anything to a mirror you like.

Cleveland tool and Cutter (http://www.clevelandtoolandcutterinc.com/resource/) is a Rockler affiliate - have you tried there?
