Hello ,
I have wanted to get started with different kinds of leg designs. up till not , most of my pieces have had square , tapered , some flutes , etc...
I am looking for some different full size patters of other legs types , such as the cabriole leg , ball and claw , etc....
I havent been able to locate any full size patters for these other types of period legs. If anyone know where I could find them or has some they have made
they would like to share , it would be very appreciated.
Thanks

Jamie,
Again, I will suggest the Society of American Period Furniture Makers - sapfm dot org
I will offer up some basic patterns and directions from a class that I took. The school no longer exists, so I feel comfortable in passing on this info.

Did you do any online searches? I did a quick one a found a couple of things. Do you have access to back issues of Fine Woodworking or some of their books. They have a book on 18th cent. stuff that should have patterns in it. It is worth the investment to get one of the books becaquse they will take you through a step by step carving process; helpful if you have never done one before.
