Hardware for step stools and ladders

Hi. New to the forum.
Does anyone know a source for hardware to make step stools like the one pictured here? If kits aren't available, does anyone know what hardware to buy to be able to build step stools and ladders? I have wanted to build "nice" looking step stools and ladders for use indoors.

Sorry, I don't have a source. Woodsmith #183 has a folding step stool (two steps) that shows you how to make your own hardware.
