Welcome to the Creek. I spent some time in Algeria back in the mid '90s. Flew into Oran and worked in Bethouia

Welcome Amin,

Hope you enjoy your new pursuit. I met a woodworker in Egypt, where wood is almost impossible to get. I actually saw vendors selling used plywood on busy street corners. Is it that scarce in Algeria??

Hello Rick,

Real wood is expensive in my country, pine wood is predominant, walnut is a luxury.
Particle boards and plywood are sold everywhere for a decent price but they are of varying quality.

Amin, welcome to the Creek. And since you are new to woodworking, the best advice I can give you is to use every safety device that a tool offers. Best of luck to you.
