This is a chest that I make.
It's wormy white pine
2 ERC pannels inside bottom
Includes a customer choice (size, wood type) of sliding tray inside

Jim, that looks great! I am a fan of pine in some occasions. This is one of them, for sure! Great job!

Tyler - ERC = I'm guessing Eatern Red Cedar?

Yep ERC Eastern Red Cedar.

I sawmill/kiln dry my own wood.
I live in N. Tn. a pine beetle came through here and turned the pines into Nuclear Waste land.
This lumber is from the Top of the White pine tree, the bottom logs don't have much of this, but in the tops, the bug bored all the way through.
I like this wormy wood since the bug bored perpendicular through the tree instead of parallel to the trunk.
I build Chests in layers that are screwed together for ease of disassembly for refinish/repair
The Cedar box is one of my inside boxes
