I have a potential customer who asked me to cut stencils for air brush work that he is doing. He showed me stencils cut from some opaque film type material about 0.2mm thick that he currently uses. Any idea what is a good material for this type of work that cuts well on lasers? He sent me some really intricate design with lots of small cuts.

I normally use frisket and cut it on the plotter, but have also cut by hand with simple, large designs. I have also used cal-mask, a
material made for stencils by the sign vinyl manufacturers, and have even used transfer tape cut by laser.

I supply to some airbrush artist and I use Mylar, that maybe what your customer has been using.

What settings is everyone using for cutting Mylar?
