I normally only visit the "Turner's" Forum, but there's not much turning in this project. Thought some "flat" woodworkers would enjoy seeing this.

The structure is about 20" wide and 13" deep and the logs are 1.25" square.

This was done as a Christmas gift for my grandson.

With the position you chose for the photo, it looks like a real cabin. Nice work.

Very cool project. Wow - what a view. Is that what you get to look at every day or did you take it to a scenic place for the photo op?

Larry, the photo was taken on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, about four blocks from where we live.

Thanks for the comments; I'm looking forward to seeing the reactions on Christmas morning.
