Here is a few tool rests I made sat morning
I can use the bowl rests on anything 6" up to 20" with the 3 shown
The straight rests are 12" and 8"
all made from 1" and 7/8" cold roll steel.

They look great! Looks like you will not have to make any compromises in choosing a rest to use. Each one is suited for a specific task.

Any chance you want to make a couple of those to sell? They look nice. Been looking at the ones at there and they all seem pretty expensive
