Just finished some Christmas ornaments made from padauk. Beautiful wood, but sure does make a mess in the shop. I think that stuff has lard in it. Sticks to everything.

I'm with Dahl on this one. All I see is black and white, and a little yeller smiley face thing. I mean, the grain just doesn't seem all that purdy at all.:p

And, I think we need a little smiley camera icon added to the list.;)

Made an Apple shaped lidded box out of padauk for my son's teacher. My wife commented that the shop looked like I had installed a red lightbulb because of the fine dust tinting everything. I seem to have tinted my can of paste wax also.

That stuff will stain right through you clothes, and underwear, right to your skin. DAMHIKT!
