Man, I'm going to have to try changing the direction mine faces and see if it will turn into a powermatic :)

Wow! Smoke and mirrors!! Congrats on the upgrade Josh! Looks like you will be able to turn some really big stuff now - especially with your bed extension! Pretty cool!

this is a good tfasq, If you are facing the same wall , then your lathe work piece will turn toward you when the head is on your left but away from you when the head is on the rihgt side

And to think I have wasted time feeling bad for you over the last several days because you had to sell your lathe. You can turn it right back around!;):D

I think you need to move it closer to the door. It's easier for me to load. LOL. It looks great. Enjoy it and congrats.

Congrats Josh. I am just crushed and still trying to figure it out. I turned mine around 3 times, clicked my heels, moved it closer to the door and it never turned into a Robust, PM 3520 or a Oneway 2436.

Congratulations. I think you are going to love turning on it. Can't wait to see what' comes of the new lathe.

You should always position your lathe so that you face the door when turning. That way you can see when a fellow Creeker tries to sneak in, sap you, and steal your new 3520.

Josh,

In that light, your lathe looks like it's put on a little weight. It's also got an unhealthy yellowish tint to it. I'll tell you what I'm willing to do: ship it over to my garage. In only a couple of weeks with my intensive lathe exercise program, it will come back to you having lost weight and having regained its original color.

Shoot. Looks like it's time to buy a Robust or a Oneway...

Congrats on the upgrade Josh. Have fun...

Wait... you have two lathes now? Hook 'em in tandem and see if the throw gets even bigger...
