Sister brought her engraver down to play with, but ran out of the blue fluid used when cutting glass. Is there a homemade something or other that would work fine? Thought about a few drops of Ivory dish soap in water. Hers is water based, runs through a pump and a small reservoir in the bottom of the engraver. Recycled over and over.

Can't think of anywhere around her that would have it, hence the question.

Is this for laser or rotary engraving???? For Laser coating the glass with a clear soap film is fine. for rotary I use windex in a spray bottle. I got tired of putting the bag under the spindle. so a bath towel worked fine with a mist. windex works great as a coolant.
