Nova announced on their Facebook page that the new remote is ready for sales. I had read a post earlier in the year stating that if when you turn on the lathe and it is going through the start up on the screen if there is an "S" in the software version then no adapter kit is required. On the Facebook post they state that there must be a "remote ready" sticker on the lathe otherwise you need the $80 adapter to make things work. Guess I'll call the service center later in the week to get clarification. I've been waiting for this for 2 years now and Santa is ready to pluck down the $100 for the remote. Don't know if she is ready for a $180 additional gift though.:o
