I'm planning on making a 4-foot long tabletop skeeball game for my grandson. I want it to closely replicate the arcade full-sized ones I grew up with. The balls are 1.5 inches diameter. I need some suggestions...
1. Material for the deck
2. How to make the launcher at end of the ramp, and dimensions / final angle (physics, anyone?)
3. How to make the rings. I was thinking about just making hoops from some poplar stock using my router circle jig... but then I though about maybe bending some wood strips into a circle... or using PVC pipe cut to 1.5 inch lengths.
I have the returns designed and am looking forward to getting started. Any input is very appreciated.
