Makita MAC 700 Width

Hi,

I am interested in purchasing a Makita MAC 700 air compressor but I am limited by width. Specs show it is 10" wide. As my space is just shy of 10" I was curious if anyone out there could measure theirs and send me the exact width.

I just ran out to the garage and mine actually measures 10-1/4" The roll cage/handle is the widest part by far, but is welded to the tank so removal would require major cutting..

I believe the air hose connects on the side also, so allowances need made for it.

Yes, that's right but I think you could work that out with some brass fittings.
