Please pardon my ignorance if this is a simple answer. I'm building all new kitchen cabinets (my first attempt). They will be a simple shaker raised panel design. I want to do partial inset doors, but want concealed hinges. Do they make such of thing for this application? I can't seem to find anything, so am I stuck with full overlay doors if I want concealed hinges? I don't think I can pull off full inset doors on my first attempt.
Any info is appreciated!
Thank you,
-Tim

Take a look at this site: http://www.wwhardware.com/blum-110-176-clip-top-self-close-straight-arm-screw-on-hinge-blumotion-without-blumotion-self-close.html There are several styles and models to choose from.

I've used these hinges on numerous kitchen cabinets and other types of cabinets. I love the adjustability and easy door removal with these hinges.

good luck

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do, but maybe this page is what you need to know...http://www.rockler.com/articles/european-hinge-lipped-doors.cfm

Blum also has a way to make their 170 degree hinges do this job. Look at the lower left corner of the second page of http://files.catalog-on-demand.com/XDSAssetStore/ebbrad/Graphic/Product/Cliptop_170.pdf

If you are talking about rabbited doors then the answer is yes, you can used euro hinges to do that. If you look at the blum catalog at http://www.blum.com/pdf/BUS/1046_hinge_b/1046_hinges_b.pdf , you they will show you which ones will work for that application. There are a couple of ones to choose from.

Thank you! That's exactly what I am trying to do. Everywhere I read it called them partially inset, but "lip" make sense. Looks like you just need to add a 3mm spacer to the blum 170 degree clip top hinges and you're good to go.
