Couple of saltboxes and other surprises!

Cherry I think I posted already and a piece of curly maple from Mike Smith dyed with some black, sanded back and the red...lighting makes the lid and vessel look different, but they are the same tint and depth. It was a big piece of maple so I cut it in half and did 2. I haven't finished the other one but I really want to color it yellow with the usual black base. And then...the trucks showed up! The lathe literally showed up 15 minutes ago and I need to install the riser kit on the 0555. So much to do!!! Thanks for looking and C&C on the boxes welcome...not on the other stuff;)!!! My swears there is a tear in my eye...she's usually right:rolleyes:

After seeing those last two pictures, I had to check the calendar to see if I had been asleep for a couple of weeks! Nice boxes too. The first picture that is.;):)
