I don't usually do this, but I wanted to share my good fortune with my friends here on the Creek.

Niche Magazine holds an annual awards contest for makers in various categories. It's a very respected contest, and you are only allowed to enter two pieces in any category.
The 5 finalists in each category were announced yesterday and I got both of my pieces chosen as finalists in the turned wood category.

Niche magazine caters to the buyers and retailers of American craft, so hopefully lots of galleries will see my work.
