A couple of little turnings and 1st photo tent shots.

Mostly finished up my photo tent today and took these pics. I only have a shade for a backdrop, I'll play with that for now. Still need to tweek lighting and camera settings, but I think the tent will work good.

The first one is a cherry tootrhpick holder I made for my wife and the other one is a mahogany box about 2 1/2 x 5 1/2.

Neat turnings & nice clear pictures Roland. Good luck playing with the lights! You might back up just a bit or not crop them quite so close. Just a thought.

Roland- you can improve the lighting by moving either one of the side lights further away, allowing less light on that side, which will enhance the 3D appearance in your images. Your lights are now too evenly balanced, and create the undesirable dual headlight highlights which will be even more obvious on shiny surfaces.
