Not really sure what they're called, but I want to install a system that will shut off the main water supply to the house if a leak is detected. So, a motorized valve on the main line and sensors at the different points of use around the house.

Is there a good economical kit out there or is this something I'll need to piece together myself?

I've looked at the pipeburst pro stuff and it looks very well made and is what appears to be what I'm looking for; but it seems a bit expensive for what it is. An electronic valve and a half dozen sensors shouldn't cost over $1000!

Are there other options available?

Thanks,
Stephen
