Chris, I checked this sander out at the Carolinas show last month. Looks pretty good as an entry level sander. Someone, not the rep, said this particular timesaver is an import. Not quite as heavey as some others, seemed to me that the contact rolls were smaller than some of the other sanders. Price was around $7500.00. I personally think if I was going to make the jump I would probably go with the saftey speedcut widebelt. It is a couple grand more but much heavier built and built in the usa. Most of the parts on it were off the shelf stuff that you could find locally. I think the speedcut has variable feed on the belt while the timesaver is a fixed feed rate, I could be wrong here as I looked at many and I'm at work and info is at home. Would love to have one but for now I'll have to put together the old stroke sander I bought last year. If I can help anymore let me know. Good Luck!
