I was working on an end grain box and was in the process of fitting the lid and it split. So I had to salvage it some way.
I cut off the tenon for the lid and reshaped the box and after fiddling around with several different lid shapes here is what I came up with.
It is 2 3/8" in diameter and 2 5/8" tall in walnut and birdseye maple.
