Grizzly G0480 10" Spiral Head Jointer

Does anyone know how much the Grizzly G0480 jointer sold for? It is the 10" jointer with the spiral head and 84" table.

Anyone know how old it is?

Anyone have experience with this specific jointer?

Don't remember what it sold for, but it was part of the "extreme'" series - bet it was somewhere around $1800-$2000.

I believe they were available through 2008. The owner's manual on Grizzly's website shows a last revision date of November, 2007.

Sorry - no experience with this one - but at 896 pounds - I can say its fairly heavy.:D

I believe those are still being sold by Oliver. My understanding is the only real difference was the Baldor motor vs the Griz no name.

There's one on Denver's Craigslist, but it looks like he's a little high at $1400.

Joe, I have that same one. I paid $2200, plus shipping. It has a 3 hp motor and it was discontinued around 2004ish. For the price it is listed for, I would absolutely buy it again... but it weighs just under 1,000 lbs.

I found my receipt. I paid, with shipping, $2,268.25. The oder date was 2/25/2007. About a year later, they discontinued the model. On clearance, I think it was in the $1,750 range, plus shipping ($200.00). I have some inspection tools if you want to go check it out. PM or call me.
