Marking steal with CO2

I was just saw a post on a blog about engraving and they showed how to use Dry Moly (some type of lubricant) as an alternative to cermark on stainless. And at less than $9 a can I figured someone here might want to experiment with it.

An 80W laser will directly mark on steel without any additives.

Dan knows them all but I think Moly is one of the ingredients that is in Cermark.

My 45 watt will also mark directly on ss but I use Cermark because it's faster.

It will do in a pinch - I've tried it. But Cermark™ is by far the best.
