Nice work, Adrian! You know, they make a spray paint that looks like stone... could be a nice finish for you.

cheers, dee

That is an amazing project. Nice job done! I agree with Dee, paint it up so it looks like stone. How much wood did your project use? I'd be curious to know!

Whoa! This is really cool. What type and thickness of wood and how long did it take from start to finish?

And if you're up for it, I'm sure many here wouldn't mind a copy of the CAD files :D

The size of the project is 22” X 19” X 6”. I used 9 sheetsof 30” X 12” X 1/8” birch plywood. As far as time I think it took me about two hoursto cut the entire project. To put it together, about 4 hours with thehelp of my daughter without using any glue. As for the finish, I am looking fora paint or stain that can deliver a stone looking finish. By the way I am goingto take it apart to sand and finish it; after that I will use glue to put ittogether.
PS. Thanks for your comments.
Regards,
Adrian

Very nice Adrian. Could you give us a few more details? Did you design it all in Corel or a CAD program or some other program?

That's quite an impressive project. Thank you for sharing the photos. Will be looking forward to seeing your finished project!
