About 10 mins each, Sharpie colored. I've made about 75 this week. Selling some at the store, giving away a bunch to various female types, in necklace form. The blank is about 1" x 3 1/4", so lots of opportunities to use up some scrap.

Neat idea for short cutoffs for this time of year. I like 'em!

For any interested, Captain Eddie Castelin made a video demonstrating how he turned and put together these lights.

Thanks for sharing these... I think I'll go make some.
Did you paint the socket end with silver paint?

Oh and thanks for the link to Capn' Eddie's video too. He's a funny guy...

Great idea - us poor boys are all about using up scraps!

I had a go at these tonight. Made one and forgot the threads, so it served as a pattern. Then made three more with no mistakes, and good color. Put a smile on my face every time.
:)
Good practice pieces! I'll probably demo these at the Christmas market this year...

Thanks again for posting this, and the tip about the silver paint sharpie. I'm gonna go hunt some up...

Those are pretty cool Richard! Now you just need to turn some tiny one for matching earings!
