Hi. Attached are photos of a new backsaw handle I recently finished.

The timber is Tasmanian Blackwood (with fiddleback grain).

Wow, beautiful! I really like the way you closed the tote. Did you pattern this after another handle, or was this your own take?

Hi Dave. The 1st photo shows the spine after the cross hatch was removed. The traditional look to the spine was a far better option. Thanks for asking. Regards; Stewie.

Hi Ed. The backsaw feels well balanced in the hand, and is a pleasure to use. I also sharpen my hand saws using the traditional method. Regards; Stewie
