I like the mini birdhouses, but not enough to make them. My fingers arent numble enough to be trying to glue them little rascals and all. The wife however said she wanted atleast some small pieces for the tree so here is a 1st attempt. Its about 2 1/4 long. had to raid my tackle box for some #4 bait-holder hooks to swipe the eyelet

Excellent, looks like the fingers didn't let you down. Where is the door though? :)

Nice!! Great color contrast! You didn't say how many small pieces your wife wanted for the tree!! When I turned mine... just needed a few for the kids/grandkids.... ended up with over 70! Don't have that many grandkids yet... but these things are quick to turn and a lot of fun! Enjoy!!

I told her I would make it into a birdhouse complete with bird on perch, but she rolled her eyes and said.."if it cant take getting knocked off the tree a dozen times, dont bother!" LOL

Neat job Ken. I like he acorn shaped bottom and the top is my favorite style as well.
