This one is for my mom for christmas. It's gum burl and walnut. Finish is blo, shellic, and multi coats of rattle can lacquar.Lacquar is knocked down with steel wool and will be waxed and buffed before it's sent to PA.It's about 10" from tip of spout to tip to handle, and about 7 tall. I'll try to turn somethink else next time instead of only showing pots, but it seems that everyone wants one. Still need to make 3 more.:(
Thanks and all c&c more than welcome.

Wow Steve, if your mom is anything like mine this is going to bring her to tears. That's a beauty and I'm sure it will become a family heirloom.

BTW, keep the posts coming. I'm loving them.

The shape and wood on this one is great and the Angel theme puts it over the top. When I first began looking at turned teapots last year, I was amazed at the creativity but didn't personally care for many of them. Yours I can honestly say I like. Great job Steve!

Wow thanks again all. Curt my mom has been getting my stuff for 30 years, some of the stuff should be trashed as i wasn't very good back then. Not turnings as i've only been doing these for about 3 1/2 or so.But she seems to like the stuff i make better than the store bought stuff.Need to get back out there to the shop and finish up the granddaughters and get off this crazy puter.:)

Very cool Steve. I like the little angle figure on the top, as the knob. Very creative.
