This is the 3rd year our woodturning club, The Golden Spike Woodturners, has donated a tree to the Christmas Tree Jubilee. http://foundation.weber.k12.ut.us/clear/index.php/christmas-tree-jubilee.html
(http://foundation.weber.k12.ut.us/clear/index.php/christmas-tree-jubilee.html)My wife and I went to see the trees and I took this short video. The tree, all the ornaments, and the train that runs around the base of the tree were all made by the club. This year the tree turns (about 1 rpm) and pulls the train around the base with it. (I kept getting the train when it was behind the tree)The tree sold for a little over $3000 this year. The guy that runs the foundation said the Jubilee brought in about $225,000. Not their best year but they were very happy considering the economy.
