Nice work on all the stoppers! I like turning them every once in a while just for something different. Only problem I ever had was with height... some stoppers would fit in my fridge.. others wouldn't. Have fun!!

Steve, alot of my customers wanted taller ones as they are or have been using them on Olive oil bottles. I try and keep most of the stoppers for white wine and or wines that are kept chilled as short as possible

Ken - nice stoppers. I just started messing with stoppers, so your shapes are interesting to me. Who's stopper kits do you use? So far, I bought 15 kits from EZPOTS.com - 304 stainless steel. I think my next batch will be from Ruth Niles.

Rich, these are from penn Industries

Dan, Mason jar, steel wool and Vinegar. Let the steel wool soak for a few days until it disolves and looks like mucky rusty crap. Wipe it on, then flame it with a propane torch, then sand it back a bit, re-apply/re-flame if needed.

Ken - Can you comment on your photography technique. I really like the natural/rustic look of all your photos. Are those inside or out? Is the background natural or artificial?

Indoors, block of wood on a stool. a chair with a t-shirt on the back of it, or a jacket...what ever was handy, usually just one flash unit off to the right
